CAR-T is not generally available for the treatment of lung cancer, and its possibilities are in the research phase. CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T cells) achieves the effect of treating cancer by strengthening the attack power of lymphocytes, which is a new type of immune cell precision targeted therapy for tumors, and can treat cancer fundamentally. However, it is still in the exploratory stage in the treatment of solid tumors such as lung cancer, prostate cancer and ovarian cancer. Because of the complex internal environment of solid tumors, not only can they not achieve good therapeutic effects, but they may also damage normal tissues. However, at present, CAR-T is mainly applied to the treatment of hematologic malignancies in the clinic, and has outstanding results in this regard. Therefore, CAR-T is generally not used for the treatment of lung cancer at present.
