The correct way to breathe through contractions

During contractions, pregnant mothers can use correct breathing methods such as Contour Breathing, Lamez Breathing, and Alternate Deep and Shallow Breathing to reduce pain, minimize the suffering caused by contractions, and help labor. 1. Clear Breathing: Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth, as if blowing on a dandelion, relaxes the whole body during labor. 2. Lamez Breathing: Inhale through the nose, exhale through the mouth, the same as the contouring style, but this breathing method needs to pay attention to the rhythm, breathing needs to be accelerated or decelerated with the frequency of contractions, which can distract the mother’s attention, thus relieving the pain caused by contractions. 3. Alternate deep and shallow breathing method: first take a deep breath through the nose, then slowly exhale through the mouth, deep breathing has a calming effect; when the uterus contracted to the highest point, the use of the upper chest breathing method, use the mouth to gently inhale, and then gently blowing, the mouth slightly open, blowing like a candle like the strength of the exhalation, such as breathing ten times, and then take a deep breath. When bouts of pain are more frequent, you can use shallow breathing, i.e., breathing like gasping for air, you can hold your breath after gasping for ten to fifteen times, and silently count five or six times to take a break. Generally, you can start training from the seventh month of pregnancy, use breathing to distract your attention, and follow the doctor’s instructions when giving birth, choose the appropriate method to promote the smooth delivery of the fetus.
