How long can a benign tumor live?

Benign tumors are characterized by expansive growth and do not have the characteristics of infiltrative growth and recurrent metastasis of malignant tumors, so, in general, they will not affect the life span of individuals. Except for special benign tumors, such as larger tumors growing in special areas, growing in brain parenchyma or gastrointestinal tract, with larger tumor size or special occupying effect, which are considered to need surgical treatment, surgery naturally requires certain surgical risks, which are not in the calculation of affecting life. There are some tumors, although benign, that sometimes grow too fast and also require surgical intervention. Therefore, most benign tumors do not affect human survival life span.
