Sperm usually survive for 2~3 days after entering the fallopian tube.
After normal semen is ejaculated, most of the semen will stay at the bottom of the vagina or at the external cervical opening for 15~20 minutes. After a few minutes, the sperm will enter the cervical canal, and can appear in the fallopian tubes in about 30 minutes. Sperm will survive and remain viable in a woman’s reproductive tract for about 2~3 days.
Since the egg can survive in the reproductive tract for 1~2 days after discharge, it is generally recommended that men and women have intercourse 1~2 days before female ovulation or during the ovulation period, and at the same time, they should be too tense and relax appropriately so as to increase the chances of conception.
For couples who have the need to prepare for pregnancy, it is recommended that they perfect sperm vitality, follicle monitoring, sex hormones and other related examinations, except the influence of disease, in order to improve the probability of pregnancy.
