Patients with memory loss would do well to complete the “Five Ones” action plan: ❤ Drink a cup of green tea every day. ❤ Take a brisk walk for one hour or 5,000 meters a day. ❤ Eat a Mediterranean diet* every day. ❤ Do one educational activity every day, such as singing, dancing, reading the newspaper, writing, playing chess or other chess games. ❤ Talk and communicate with your family once a day. * The Mediterranean diet consists of: vegetables, fruits, fish, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, poultry, fish, legumes, olive oil, nuts and moderate amounts of red wine, and limits the intake of sugar and red meat.
