Eat more nuts to help prevent Alzheimer’s

Developing Alzheimer’s disease (dementia) is one of the fears that people have when they reach old age. There is no effective treatment for this disease in the medical community. Therefore, it is extremely important to prevent the occurrence of dementia. Swedish researchers have found that eating more nuts can help prevent Alzheimer’s disease. Nuts and olive oil are rich in vitamin E. If the findings are further confirmed, both individuals and society could benefit, as it is an inexpensive and tasty way to effectively boost the brain. Combined with previous research findings, a “Mediterranean-style diet” based on vegetables, fruit, nuts and olive oil is particularly beneficial in preventing dementia. However, the UK Food Standards Agency warned that too much vitamin consumption is also harmful to health, people should pay attention to a balanced diet.
