Knee pain is not necessarily to grow taller, but also may be caused by patellar tendonitis, synovitis, meniscus injury, ligament strain, bone tumor and so on.
1. Growing pains: If there is no strenuous exercise and pain around the knee joint occurs, it is possible that the growing pains are going to grow taller, and the growing pains can be alleviated by resting.
2. Patellar tendonitis: the pain occurs directly below the knee joint, the pain is aggravated when running or jumping, and is alleviated by rest.
3. Synovitis: most people have a history of joint strain, trauma, cold, joint pain, joint swelling, and limited movement.
4. Meniscus injury: there is a history of joint sprains, joint pain and rattling sound when flexing and extending the knee joint.
5. Ligament strain: joint swelling and localized tenderness may occur after injury.
6. Bone tumors: for example, osteochondroma, osteoblastoma, bone cysts may cause bone destruction and joint pain.
