Patients presenting with headache accompanied by leg pain are considered to have a common cause of neurovascular pain. There can be many triggers that cause neurovascular headache, such as mental tension, or excessive tension in the muscles of the head and neck. Some patients may have headache symptoms due to insomnia and dreaminess, and the brain does not get enough rest. Patients with headaches and leg pains consider that patients have recently been overworked and have had too much physical activity, when they have not received sufficient rest and have developed headache symptoms. Due to excessive physical activity, the patient’s legs produce too much lactic acid, which is not metabolized from the body to the outside as soon as possible, and then the patient will have the symptoms of leg pain. Another common cause is that the patient may have an upper respiratory tract infection and a low fever, which can lead to a headache with leg pain.
