What to use for small bumps at the base of the tongue

Small bumps on the root of the tongue are normal tongue tissues, clinically known as contour papillae, which are usually treated without medication and so on.
1. At the position of the root of the tongue, there is a row of larger disc-shaped bumps, clinically known as contour papillae, which are normal structures; they are arranged in a herringbone shape on the back of the tongue at the root of the tongue and are symmetrical on both sides, with about seven to ten of them; the contour papillae contain a larger number of taste buds, which are mainly used for sensing the sense of taste.
2. The contour papillae are usually not easy to detect, occasionally found when stretching the tongue excessively, and they are often mistaken for tumors or inflammation and consult the doctor; and they are seldom inflamed, and when they are inflamed, they will usually feel discomfort occasionally, with no obvious swelling or pain and other symptoms.
3. If the inflammation worsens and is accompanied by swelling and pain and affects tongue movement such as swallowing, anti-inflammatory drugs (such as amoxicillin, cotrimoxazole gargle, etc.) can be taken or gargled under the guidance of a doctor to control the inflammation. The use of medication should be in accordance with medical advice.
