What are the side effects of Amlexium

Andrizin, also known as Donepezil Hydrochloride, is a commonly used medication used to treat Alzheimer’s disease. The drug is well tolerated by patients and side effects vary from person to person and are categorized according to the incidence of side effects as very common (e.g., diarrhea, nausea, etc.), common (e.g., colds, anorexia, etc.), rare (e.g., seizures, bradycardia, etc.), and rare (e.g., extrapyramidal manifestations, hepatic impairment, etc.), and so on.
Donepezil hydrochloride is a cholinesterase inhibitor, which improves manifestations such as cognitive dysfunction by increasing choline levels. Its side effects are also related to relatively high choline levels.
1. Very common category. Incidence ≥10%, including diarrhea, nausea, and headache.
2. Common category. Incidence ≥1%, <10%, including colds, anorexia, skin itching, insomnia, fatigue. 3. Rare category. Incidence ≥0.1%, <1%, including epileptic seizure, bradycardia, gastric ulcer, etc. 4. Rare category. Incidence ≥0.01%, <0.1%, including tremor, atrioventricular transmission block, hepatic impairment, etc. As this drug may affect sleep when administered before bedtime, it is generally recommended to administer the drug in the morning. It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the components of this drug, pregnant women, lactose intolerant, bradycardic, and people with cardiac conduction system disorders (e.g., sick sinus node syndrome, etc.).
