I can’t swallow sticky phlegm at the connection between my nose and throat

The area where the nose and throat meet is clinically known as the nasopharyngeal area. If there is phlegm adhesion and swallowing discomfort in this area, it is usually seen as mucosal swelling in the nasopharynx, or even tumor lesions. It is generally recommended to visit the ENT department of a regular hospital in time, and fiberoptic nasopharyngoscopy and CT film of the nasopharynx can be done. If the lesion is inflammatory, appropriate anti-inflammatory drugs and topical glucocorticoid nasal sprays such as hydroxyzoline hydrochloride can be used to improve mucosal congestion and reduce inflammation and swelling. If there are neoplastic lesions, further examination as well as treatment are required.
