Acute renal failure may be due to renal injury caused by insufficient effective blood volume, renal lesions, obstructive lesions, etc.
1. Insufficient effective blood volume: including massive bleeding, gastrointestinal fluid loss, renal fluid loss, and loss of body fluids from the skin and mucous membranes, etc., which may lead to insufficient renal blood perfusion, thus forming acute renal failure.
2. Renal lesion: it refers to substantial damage to the kidney, which may be caused by renal ischemia, infection, glomerulonephritis and so on. When acute injury occurs, patients may develop acute kidney injury.
3. Obstructive lesions: such as ureteral stones, ureteral tumors, bladder tumors, prostate hyperplasia and other diseases lead to obstructive lesions, and renal function injury occurs.
Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, HELLP syndrome, atherosclerotic plaque rupture, etc., can lead to thrombosis or embolism of renal microvessels and large blood vessels, causing renal ischemia and acute renal failure.
Acute renal failure can also be seen in other causes, it is recommended that patients go to the hospital in a timely manner, follow the doctor’s instructions to improve the examination, to clarify the cause of the disease, treatment, to avoid delaying the condition.
