How to treat seborrheic dermatitis of the nose

If seborrheic dermatitis appears on the nose, first of all, fungal microscopy should be done on the nasal area. If fungal spores are found, topical naftifine ketoconazole cream or ciclopirox ointment can be used for antifungal treatment, and mite testing should also be done. If mites are found, oral metronidazole tablets and topical clindamycin metronidazole application can be used for treatment. If the rash is red in color with mild itching, you can take oral levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets or loratadine citrate tablets and topical butalbital ointment for anti-allergic treatment while mixing mupirocin ointment to enhance anti-inflammatory treatment, avoid bright light and prolonged sun exposure during treatment and avoid alcohol.
