The sacral lumbar region is mainly located at the connection of the lumbar and sacral vertebrae, that is, at the part of the 5th lumbar vertebra and the 1st lumbar vertebra, and the lumbosacral region is the part of the spine with the greatest amount of movement, and also the part with the greatest amount of weight. Because the weight of the upper body should be pressed to the lumbosacral region, and through the lumbosacral region to both sides of the hip joint shunt, all the way to the lower extremities to bear the body’s strength. Therefore, the lumbosacral region is the part of the body that has the greatest amount of activity and bears the greatest amount of weight, which can easily lead to bone degeneration and disc herniation in the lumbosacral region, thus causing significant pain in the lumbosacral region. The lumbosacral region is also the attachment point of the muscles and fascia of the lumbar region, thus causing obvious pain in the lumbosacral region where the muscles and ligaments are attached after strain and cold.
