Seven Ways to Exercise for Hernia Rehabilitation, is it true?

There is no such thing as seven ways to rehabilitate a hernia. The common postoperative rehabilitation of hernia includes early activities, postoperative analgesia, diet, health education and so on.
1. Early activities: according to the patient’s physical condition and recovery situation discretionary start activities, 6h after surgery can encourage and assist the patient to move in bed, the double calf pneumatic compression therapy. You can get out of bed 24h after surgery, but you need to do a good job to prevent falls and other safety measures. Don’t overdo it in the early stage of activity.
2. Postoperative analgesia: implement epidural analgesia combined with intravenous medication for pain relief, with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as the mainstay, minimize the use of opioids, and train patients in advance to use the analgesic pump.
3. Diet: Cultivate patients’ daily healthy diet to increase the intake of dietary fiber and high quality protein, and avoid spicy and stimulating diet.
4. Health education: Cultivate patients’ healthy living habits, and avoid constipation, forceful coughing, sneezing and other behaviors that will increase intra-abdominal pressure within 6 months.
Patients need to be under the guidance of professional doctors when performing rehabilitation training after hernia surgery.
