Leg pain is not the main manifestation of novel coronavirus infection. The main manifestation of novel coronavirus infection is dry cough, fever, malaise, sometimes accompanied by chest tightness and shortness of breath, and in a few patients, nasal congestion, sore throat, muscle pain, diarrhea, etc. Therefore, in some patients with novel coronary pneumonia, they may present with leg pain in the lower extremities because of generalized soreness. In patients with an epidemiological history and abnormal lung CT changes, especially in the presence of viral lung formation, even if they have leg pain, it is important to differentiate them and improve early detection of novel coronavirus in respiratory specimens to rule out the formation of novel pneumonia. It should also be noted that in some critically ill patients, the seriousness of the disease may lead to coagulation dysfunction secondary to the formation of deep vein thrombosis in the lower extremities and leg pain, so it should also be differentiated accordingly and coagulation function plus D-dimer and deep vein ultrasound of the lower extremities should be performed as early as possible.
