The effects of Cheng Shan are to relax the tendons and activate the channels (stretching the tendons and bones, dredging the meridians), and to clear heat and pass the intestines. Chengshan from the “Spiritual Pivot – Wei Qi”, is a human point, located in the posterior region of the calf, gastrocnemius muscle two muscle belly and tendon junction. When you lift your heel, there is a herringbone groove in the calf muscle, and the apex of the herringbone groove is the Chengshan acupoint. Chengshan has the effect of relaxing the tendons and activating the collaterals, clearing heat and promoting intestinal circulation, and can treat hemorrhoids, constipation, abdominal pain, leg cramps, abdominal pain, hernia, and so on. When treating leg cramps, Cheng Shan can be paired with the Comanzhong point, Yangling point and Kunlun point. When treating swelling and pain in the knee joints, you can pair Cheng Shan with San Li, Yang Fu, Zhi Zhong and Xie Xi points. If you want to use acupoint therapy, you need to be operated by a doctor, do not operate on your own to avoid adverse consequences.
