Multiple small lymph nodes in the neck usually indicate a higher possibility of tumor metastasis, mostly due to thyroid cancer metastasis. It is necessary to check whether there are nodes in the thyroid gland, which can be examined by ultrasound, and to check the location of the enlarged lymph nodes, and the subdivisions need to be marked clearly. If the nodule is suspected to be malignant, it is described as a nodule with low echogenicity, unclear borders, internal pitting calcification, aspect ratio greater than one, or even abnormal blood flow signal. For malignant thyroid nodules, radical nail cancer surgery is required and the enlarged lymph nodes should be completely removed together. Of course, it is also possible that many years after nail cancer surgery, multiple small lymph nodes in the neck are found when you come to the hospital for follow-up. In this case, if the lymph nodes are suspected to be caused by tumor metastasis, lateral lymph node dissection is also needed.
