Why some leg pain symptoms are caused by the lumbar spine

Leg pain can be caused by a variety of reasons, including pain caused by skin problems; muscle soreness and tendon strain; bone damage; joint damage; and a problem that cannot be ignored, namely, neuralgia. The nerves in the lower limbs, including the tibial and common peroneal nerves, emanate from the lumbar spine. If there is a problem with the lumbar spine and it presses on the nerves, there may be pain in the lower limbs, including radiating pain and numbness, etc. Therefore, when considering that leg pain is caused by local factors in the legs, we should not forget that the pain in the lower limbs is likely to be caused by a problem with the lumbar spine that presses on the nerves. When leg pain occurs, it is important to find a relevant professional doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, or even a spine specialist to conduct the appropriate examination, or at the very least a physical examination, to initially determine which cause is actually causing the problem.
