Can anti-angiogenic drugs be combined with other targeted agents?

Can anti-angiogenic drugs be used in combination with targeted drugs such as erlotinib and gefitinib? Anti-angiogenic drugs are mainly used in combination with chemotherapy drugs, but recent studies have found that they can be used in combination with targeted drugs such as erlotinib to improve their efficacy. The tumor progression-free survival time (time without tumor progression) is 9.7 months with targeted agents alone, and can be extended to 16 months with the combination. Therefore, the icing on the cake of anti-angiogenic agents is not limited to chemotherapy, but also synergistic with tumor epidermal growth factor inhibitors (targeted agents such as erlotinib). What is the effect of anti-angiogenic drugs often used in combination with chemotherapy? The combination does not allow the tumor to shrink rapidly in a short period of time, but it can suppress the tumor for a long time and keep it from growing and recurring, which in turn allows the patient to live with the tumor, i.e. the patient has little symptoms and lives like a normal person. And this condition can be prolonged for a long time, which is the advantage of the combination.
