Signs of recurrence of esophageal cancer

Signs of recurrence of esophageal cancer are symptoms such as difficulty in swallowing, enlarged lymph nodes and pain behind the sternum. 1. Difficulty in swallowing: recurrence of esophageal cancer may cause tumor enlargement or reappearance of tumor, resulting in obvious foreign body sensation, choking sensation or obvious difficulty in swallowing, which requires further examination. 2. Swelling of lymph nodes: swelling of lymph nodes near the esophagus suggests inflammation or tumor recurrence. If patients who have recovered from esophageal cancer treatment have enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, they should go to the hospital for review in time. 3. Other symptoms: pain behind the sternum, hoarse voice, dyspnea and other symptoms may be symptoms of recurrence of esophageal cancer. If patients with the above symptoms appear, they should go to the hospital for rechecking in time, so as to avoid missing the diagnosis of recurrence of cancer, which may lead to the delay of the disease.
