The symptoms of abdominal aortic entrapment begin with a tearing-like abdominal pain that is unbearable due to the creation of the entrapment. Also, if the entrapment expands, it can cause compression of the intestinal canal and compression of the ureter. If the entrapment extends to the leg, there will be symptoms of leg ischemia, numbness and pain in the leg, and the femoral artery can be palpated without pulsation or with weak pulsation on examination, or tremor of the femoral artery can be palpated. The abdominal examination will show scattered pressure pain in the abdomen, and if the entrapment is not ruptured, the pain is not particularly severe, etc. On palpation of the abdomen, if the clot is ruptured, there will be full abdominal pressure pain, muscle tension, rebound pain, and hemorrhagic shock.
