The survival period of advanced lung cancer can reach 1-2 years with active treatment, but only a few months if treatment is abandoned. In the advanced stage of lung cancer, cancer cells have already metastasized and spread to lymphatic system and distal organs, and the condition is relatively more serious, so radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy are mainly adopted as comprehensive treatment. If actively treated and with good therapeutic effect, the survival period of patients can reach 1-2 years, especially for patients who can undergo targeted therapy, the survival period will be longer.
