Knee replacement surgery includes single ankle replacement and total knee replacement, replacing worn cartilage and using artificial joints.
1. Total Knee Arthroplasty: Choose the median incision of the knee joint for incision, remove the worn meniscus, anterior cruciate ligament, synovial membrane, fatty tissue, loosen the contracture of the soft tissues in the knee joint, measure the osteotomies, correct the line of force, and amputate part of the femur and tibia.
Flushing gun rinsing, absorb water, bone cement coating and then install the appropriate femoral and tibial prosthesis and liner, deal with the patella, about 12 minutes of bone cement setting, layer by layer to close the incision.
2. Single ankle arthroplasty: Evaluate the status of anterior cruciate ligament, contralateral tibiofemoral interphalangeal compartment and patellofemoral interphalangeal compartment before osteotomy; if the situation permits, choose the medial parapatellar incision to cut, remove the medial tuberosity of femoral condyles, measure femur and tibia and then osteotomy, after rinsing, remove the water, install the appropriate femur and tibia prosthesis and liner after applying the bone cement, and close the incision layer by layer.
Knee arthroplasty preoperative assessment of the patient’s status to determine the specific surgical approach, attention to asepsis, postoperative pain relief and functional exercises under the direction of the physician.
