How long does it take for an empty gestational sac to miscarry spontaneously?

Most of the empty gestational sacs cause spontaneous abortion, but there is no exact time, and it is necessary to judge according to your own situation, not to be generalized. If you have regular menstruation and a primordial cardiovascular pulsation and yolk sac can be detected on day 42 of pregnancy by ultrasound, and there is no fetal bud or heartbeat for more than 60 days of pregnancy, and the gestational sac is more than 3 cm, you are considered to have an empty gestational sac. Generally, empty gestational sacs will be gradually and spontaneously miscarried off, and the pregnancy needs to be ended in time after the diagnosis, otherwise the empty gestational sacs will stay in the uterine cavity for too long, which will lead to indolent abortion and may cause gynecological inflammation and even affect the subsequent pregnancy. The pregnancy should be checked regularly. If there is no abdominal pain and bleeding, an ultrasound examination can be performed at 7-8 weeks to determine if the embryo is alive. If there is abdominal pain and irregular vaginal bleeding, you should go to the hospital at any time to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.
