Lung nodules haven’t changed in two or three years.

Lung nodules that have not changed for two or three years can continue to be followed up for observation, and routine chest CT evaluation is recommended once a year.
There are many reasons for the formation of lung nodules, commonly inflammatory, tuberculosis, tumors, old lung lesions, etc. According to the size of the nodule, imaging characteristics, symptoms, and patient risk factors can be initially determined the degree of risk of the nodule, if it is a high-risk nodule common treatment is to carry out puncture biopsy or surgical resection to clarify the nature of the nodule, and if the nodule is a low-risk nodule, it is often recommended to follow up and evaluate regularly.
If there is no significant change in the size and characteristics of the nodule after 2-3 years of chest CT evaluation, the lung nodule is less likely to be a malignant tumor and can continue to be followed up for observation. It is generally recommended that chest CT be performed once a year to evaluate the changes in the size of the nodule, and to formulate a further treatment plan based on the subsequent changes.
If lung nodules are found, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and formulate a treatment or follow-up plan according to the doctor’s recommendation.
