Every time you watch Korean dramas, you are moved by the melodramatic storyline, but are you also impressed by the delicate faces of Korean guys and girls? How to create a beautiful face like Koreans?
Keyword:eye surgery
Director Yan Ling’s strategy: Oriental people are born with single eyelids, the distance between the inner corner of the eyes is wide, and once you are over 40 years old, the bags under the eyes grow out. Plastic surgery experts say that in the clinic, eye plastic surgery accounted for a large proportion of eye surgery, eye surgery is small, but extremely delicate, surgery to do a natural and beautiful is not easy.
Step 1 Double eyelid cutting, natural most important
Double eyelid surgery is medically known as “blepharoplasty” and is performed through a combination of buried lines and surgery to create a beautiful crease in the upper eyelid. The width and length of the eyelid should be noted during surgery, which takes 30 to 60 minutes and usually takes 1 to 3 months for the eyelid to appear natural.
Generally, the width of the eyelid is 7 to 9 mm, but for people with narrow lid fissures and a narrow eyebrow-eye distance (people with thick eyelids and more orbital fat (commonly known as swollen eyeballs)), the eyelid should not be made too high or it will look unnatural. For most young people, small incision blepharoplasty is usually used, where 3-4 small 2-3 mm incisions are made in the upper lid to remove the bloated fat on the one hand, and to avoid the disadvantages of the conventional incision method that leaves a scar on the upper lid, and the buried line method that creates double eyelids that tend to disappear.
Note: Eyelid surgery should be done after the development is stable, and it is generally safer for women to do it after the age of 18.
Step 2 Open the eye angle, the eye has a large charm aura
The inner corner of the eye is medically called the “inner canthus”, and the standard is that the inner canthus should be at a sharp angle, with the distance between the inner canthus being the distance of one eye. However, many people’s inner canthus spacing exceeds the width of one eye, giving them an impression of foolishness. Therefore, many people request “eye opening” to correct this deficiency.
Although an eye opening only leaves a small incision line on the skin of the inner corner of the eye, the surgery will significantly widen the eye and make the eye more colorful. Generally, double eyelid surgery and eye opening will be done together. 10~20 minutes will be enough to complete, and the traces of eye opening will generally take about 6 months to fade away.
Caution: Eye opening surgery can easily leave scars and is not covered, so people with scars should not do it. (Otherwise, it is easy to become a triangle eye.) Therefore, it is recommended to find an experienced and highly skilled doctor to do more insurance.
Step 3 Remove bags under the eyes, more youthful
Under-eye bags are a manifestation of skin aging. Generally, women start to grow bags under their eyes after 35 years old and men after 40 years old. This can make a person look aged and unrefined.
Currently, the only way to remove bags under the eyes is surgery. Skin care and facial massage can only slow down the aggravation of bags under the eyes, but have little effect on eliminating them. The surgery is simpler but requires delicacy. Depending on the situation, either internal or external incision can be chosen. The external incision surgical incision is made along the lower eyelid margin about 1~2 mm, and the skin is cut from the inner canthus towards the outer contour to open the orbital septum and remove the excess fat and skin. The surgery takes more than 60 minutes, and if the lower part of the eye bag is deeply depressed, the fat removed will also need to be filled in. Otherwise too much is removed and the face will look unnatural.
Caution: A few patients will have redness and mild scar growth of the incision in the early stage, which usually disappear in 1~3 months. Due to the incision line, the surgery can have complications of lid ectropion if the surgeon is not experienced enough.
Keywords: nostrils facing sky, collapsed nose, enlarged nose
Director Yan Ling: The nose is a pivotal part of a person’s facial contour and has the status of “king of the face”, as the saying goes, “The face is like a flower, all depends on the nose. However, it should be noted that the surgical effect varies from case to case.
The rhinoplasty and nose reduction combined with cartilage rhinoplasty can be performed. The surgery is divided into two parts: 1. according to the proportion of the five senses, the two sides of the nasal cartilage suture narrowing, reducing the nose at the same time to perform rhinoplasty; 2. take the autologous auricle and nasal septum cartilage, lift and extend the tip of the nose downward, to improve the shape of the nostril skyward. Since the tip of the nose is made of its own cartilage tissue, the tip of the nose after plastic surgery is realistic to the touch and natural in appearance; and the rejection reaction is eliminated, which fundamentally solves the complications of skin perforation of the tip of the nose caused by the use of silicone nasal tip prosthesis in the past and significantly improves the success rate of the surgery, which has special advantages.
Rhinoplasty and cartilage tip rhinoplasty is one of the most significant methods to improve the facial contour, which can improve the degree of coordination of facial features and the three-dimensional sense of the face, making people become beautiful and elegant.
Current materials for rhinoplasty generally include expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE for short) and solid silicone nasal prosthesis. As for the elevation of the tip of the nose, autologous cartilage rhinoplasty is currently advocated: its main advantage is that it is easy to survive after transplantation and no rejection reaction will occur, thus avoiding the reaction that may be caused by the tension of silicone or tumescent materials at the tip of the nose.
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Zhongshan Third Hospital has rich clinical experience in rhinoplasty and correction of nasal head and nasal hypertrophy, and tip rhinoplasty. It mainly adopts auricular cartilage or auricular cartilage combined with nasal septum cartilage transplantation, and also corrects the shape of the nasal tip by adjusting the cartilage of the nose, so that the low and fat nasal tip becomes beautiful and upright, and eliminates the worry that the placed nasal prosthesis tops through the skin of the nose.
Keywords: Acne scars
Director Yan Ling Raiders: One of the common methods to treat acne scars is mechanical skin grinding and fractional laser grinding, among which mechanical skin grinding is most suitable for fresh graduates or people who do not need to return to work temporarily because it is economical, while fractional laser is more expensive and more suitable for office workers.
Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion, commonly known as “dermabrasion”, is a method of treating skin diseases by mechanical abrasion, i.e., using a flywheel at 7,000 revolutions per minute to grind back and forth on the face.
The principle is to take advantage of the skin’s self-repairing function after damage, to destroy the superficial layer of the skin’s dermis and let it repair itself. It is the most traditional and effective way to remove acne scars, however, this technique requires a high level of experience from the doctor, because grinding too deep will damage the deeper layers of the dermis, and scars will definitely be able to appear.
This method has a low number of treatments. Due to the damage to the superficial layer of the dermis, it takes about 3 months for the skin of the face to return to its normal color and present a smooth result.
Fractional Laser
A popular treatment for acne scars in recent years, the principle is also to first destroy and then use the skin’s self-repair. Using fractional laser to eliminate acne scars, one exposure may not be enough and it usually takes four or five sessions to show results. After the fractional laser, the facial contour will be sculpted, the face will be lifted and tightened, the skin will become smooth, delicate, shiny and elastic, fine wrinkles will disappear, deep wrinkles will become shorter and lighter, and the cosmetic effect will be very obvious.
From the perspective of acne scar removal, the biggest difference between fractional laser and dermabrasion is not the price, but the “downtime”. Generally speaking, it only takes 7-10 days to recover from skin damage after a fractional laser exposure, which is a shorter downtime.
Director Yan Ling warned that these treatments have the following post-operative complications: 1. Hyperpigmentation. Sanding can damage the skin and local hyperpigmentation may occur if exposed to ultraviolet light during self-repair. The whiter the skin tone, the lower the probability of occurrence, but instead the darker the skin tone, the higher the probability of hyperpigmentation. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to sun protection after surgery.2. Cornea and compensatory seborrhea The skin is damaged by grinding and the sweat ducts are also damaged, so basically a corn rash and compensatory seborrhea, a small corn rash similar to a “whitehead”, will appear within a month or so and will fade on its own. If you need to deal with it, disinfect the skin, pick the small cornea and squeeze out the white content. 3. scar growth. If you have a history of trauma, your chest, earlobes, and back of your shoulders are especially prone to scarring. If you have acne in the jaw area, you will easily develop raised scars once you squeeze and damage the skin. Therefore, grinding is not recommended for people with keloid scars.
Key words:Facial contour
Director Yan Ling’s strategy: Facial contour is an orderly outline composed of bony structures and soft tissues, which is the first visual impression. A harmonious and smooth contour can emphasize beauty. Therefore, facial contour is the “first business card” of a person, and facial contouring is like “business card design”.
Facial contouring, commonly known as facial reshaping, refers to the modern cosmetic plastic surgery technology to change the facial contour, so that it is close to the aesthetic standards or ideal appearance, the lack of beauty of the face carved to a pleasing, beautiful and moving.
The “square face” or “big cheeks” caused by the enlarged jaw angle can be turned into a perfect “melon face” or “goose egg face” through jaw angle surgery. “The high cheekbones and zygomatic arches can be grinded and fixed in place to smooth and harmonize the convex and rough mid-facial contours.
The range of facial contouring is not limited to this. Low arch of eyebrow and temporal hollow can be filled by artificial material or autologous fat; those with small and receding chin can achieve full chin augmentation through chin implants; “full moon face” without contour caused by the accumulation of soft tissue on the face can also achieve satisfactory results through fat aspiration, botulinum toxin injection, bite muscle removal, cheek fat pad removal and other surgeries.
Keywords: jaw angle surgery
Director Yan Ling Raiders: The jaw angle and chin bone and cheekbones constitute the basic contour of the face, and with the face in the nose and lips and other tissues and organs constitute the basic features of facial morphology, is one of the important anatomical signs of facial features, the impact on facial appearance is particularly important.
The “square face” and “trapezoidal face” are precisely the characteristics of an enlarged jaw angle or an overdeveloped jaw angle and the different degrees of chewing muscle hypertrophy that accompany it. In fact, the harm of jaw angle hypertrophy to human function is not obvious, because the Oriental people advocate ‘melon face’, so most patients show the impact of facial image and the patient’s psychological damage.
In this case, the main focus of treatment is on jaw angle osteotomy, and surgery is considered to be the most effective way to treat the enlarged jaw angle.
The surgery is performed under anesthesia through an incision in the mouth. The method of surgery varies from person to person, and different methods can be used for different jaw angle enlargement, such as removal of the outer plate at the jaw angle, full osteotomy of the jaw angle area, and jaw angle grinding. In some cases, other facial cosmetic surgeries such as cheek pad removal, cheekbone reduction, chinplasty, etc. are also needed to enhance the overall effect.
