What causes right ventricular pain?

People are unable to feel the exact right ventricular pain sensation, generally speaking, right ventricular pain generally refers to the right side of the chest pain, may be caused by physiological factors, but also may be caused by pathological factors such as coronary heart disease, herpes zoster, gastric ulcer, right side of the chest local lesions such as bone fracture, inflammation and so on. 1. Physiological factors: some patients may experience precordial pain under the effect of anxiety, tension and other emotions, which may be caused by the vagus nerve being in a state of excitement under the influence of emotions, resulting in transient insufficient blood supply to the myocardium and triggering precordial pain, which usually disappears on its own after the emotions are stabilized. 2. Pathological factors (1) Coronary heart disease: It is caused by the accumulation of cholesterol and other substances in the arterial wall, which ultimately leads to the narrowing and blockage of coronary arteries, because the coronary arteries are responsible for supplying blood to the heart, and the narrowing of these arteries will lead to insufficient supply of blood to the heart, thus triggering pain in the precordial region. (2) Herpes zoster: it is a skin disease caused by virus infection. The virus moves along the nerves, causing necrotic lesions and neuralgia, resulting in neuralgia. If the lesions involve the nerves near the precordial area, the patient may also feel the precordial pain, which may be mistaken for right ventricular pain. (3) Gastric ulcer: when gastric ulcer is present, there may be radiation to the precordial area or a large wave of pain, and therefore right ventricular pain may also be felt. (4) Localized lesions on the right side of the chest: rib fractures, intercostal neuralgia, and inflammation of the intercostal soft tissues can cause painful symptoms. If a patient experiences pain in the precordial region, he should seek medical attention, identify the cause of the disease through various examinations and draw up a treatment plan under the advice of a doctor.
