Early education for preschoolers

Preschoolers develop their language rapidly, and at the age of 5-6 they can master 2,000 to 3,000 words, but because they are eager to express themselves, they speak too quickly, and there are many new and unskilled words in their sentences, so they often become stammering. Parents should encourage them to speak more slowly and clearly, and praise the children for their organized narratives. Preschoolers have gradually transitioned from being completely cared for to basic self-service, gradually learning to dress themselves, put on shoes and socks, eat and wash themselves, and control their own urination and defecation. Encourage your baby’s independent activities, don’t think your baby is clumsy and do everything for you. Preschoolers’ eyes are wide open, their imagination is getting richer, their desire to explore is very strong, and they often ask what is it? Why? How to change out? For children’s curiosity should be given to meet and induce, to help the development of children’s imagination, thinking power. Children in this period are generally self-centered, have large mood swings, love to lose their temper, and easily form bad habits of capriciousness and pettiness. Adults need to be patient, educate and induce. At the early stage of character formation, children should be taught a clear concept of right and wrong in order to develop good character and personality. Children’s memory in this period is basically unconscious and diffuse, characterized by unconsciously remembering what interests them; on the contrary, what parents spend a lot of effort to teach is not necessarily remembered. By the age of 5 to 6, children begin to remember consciously and can learn to recognize words and arithmetic, laying the foundation for entering elementary school. Therefore, the training of preschoolers’ memory and thinking should be carried out with daily life and observation, and more training should be done by using pictures, play-doh, blocks and other games to increase interest; while simple and compulsory memorization (such as reciting poems, etc.) is not appropriate, nor should first grade textbooks be put in preschoolers for training, so as not to interfere with elementary school teaching.
