What tests should be done for breast cancer?

  (i) Clinical physical examination: every 3-6 months for the first two years, every 6 months for the next 3 years, and annually after 5 years.  (B) Breast ultrasound: once every 3-6 months.  (C) Mammography: once a year.  (D) Chest X-ray: once a year.  (E) Ultrasound of the abdomen: once every 6 months, and then once a year after 3 years.  (F) Patients with more than 4 axillary lymph node metastases and other high-risk factors, baseline bone scan examination, whole body bone scan once a year, and after 5 years may be changed to once every 2 years.  (vii) Routine blood tests, blood biochemistry, and breast cancer markers should be performed every 3-6 months, and annually after 3 years.  (viii) Gynecological examination once a year for patients applying triamcinolone acetonide.
