Is it important to have high red blood cells in the urine?

An elevated number of red blood cells in urine is important, and further examination at a hospital is recommended to clarify the diagnosis and provide targeted treatment. In normal urine, there will not be more than 3 per microscopic high-powered view. If more than 3 suggest elevated urine red blood cells, the diagnosis of hematuria can be made. If the urine is found to be clear to the naked eye, but the microscopic red blood cell count is increased, it is microscopic hematuria and the possible cause is urinary tract infection or urinary tract stones. Ultrasound examination of the urinary tract and urine culture test are recommended for targeted treatment. If elevated red blood cells are seen microscopically and appear red to the naked eye, the diagnosis is carnal hematuria, and the common cause may be an acute infection or urinary tumor. It is recommended that CT or ultrasound examination of the urinary system be performed to rule out the presence of tumors, and further urine culture tests be performed. Depending on the test results, you can choose symptomatic treatment or hemostatic treatment or surgery to completely cure the increase of red blood cells in urine.
