Self-healing of first-degree hypertension

There is no self-cure for Grade 1 hypertension; lifestyle interventions and, if necessary, antihypertensive medications are available. Normally, a normal adult is diagnosed as hypertensive if the average of three measurements taken on non-same day is ≥140/90mmhg in a quiet state. Blood pressure in the range of 140-159/90-99mmhg is classified as Grade 1 hypertension. At present, there is no self-curing method for Grade 1 hypertension. Firstly, lifestyle intervention therapy can be chosen, such as controlling the body mass index of obese people within 24, reducing the intake of sodium and fat, quitting smoking and limiting alcohol, and exercising appropriately, so as to improve the adaptive ability of the cardiovascular system, and the blood pressure can be controlled within the ideal range. If the blood pressure is not controlled within the ideal range after lifestyle intervention, and the blood pressure continues to rise, the patient may be prescribed antihypertensive drugs. The doctor may prescribe antihypertensive medication to control the blood pressure within the ideal range. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital for early treatment.
