Blood stasis is a pathological product of the imbalance of blood and qi in the body, and is related to the function of the heart, liver, spleen and lung organs. It includes stagnant blood in the body, as well as blood stagnating in the meridians or organs due to poor blood flow. Stasis blood is also called “bad blood”, “stored blood”, “defeated blood”, “dirty blood”, “dead blood”, etc. “dead blood” and so on. The concept of “blood stasis” is different from that of “blood stasis”. Blood stasis refers to the pathological state of poor blood flow and is a pathological concept. Stasis of blood is a pathological product that can lead to new lesions, and belongs to the concept of etiology. The formation of blood stasis 1. Trauma causes blood stasis. Various kinds of trauma, such as bruises, injuries caused by gold blades, surgical trauma, etc., cause bleeding from broken veins, which becomes blood away from the menstruation; or other causes, such as bleeding caused by the spleen’s failure to control blood, the liver’s failure to collect blood, as well as women’s poor menstruation and miscarriage, etc. If the blood is not discharged or dissipated in time, it becomes blood stasis when it accumulates in the body. 2.Qi stagnation causes blood stasis and Qi stagnation causes blood stasis. If the emotion is depressed, the qi does not flow smoothly, or phlegm and beverage stagnate in the body and block the veins and channels, it will cause the blood to run poorly, which will lead to the stasis of blood in certain parts of the body and form stasis of blood. 3.Deficiency causes blood stasis. When Qi is deficient, blood flow is slow and causes stasis. If the blood is not taken in, the blood overflows outside the veins and stasis can occur. If the spleen does not control the blood, the purpura is caused. 4. Blood cold causes blood stasis. Blood that is warm will move, but cold will condense. If the blood is clenched and does not run smoothly, the blood accumulates in certain parts of the body and does not disperse, resulting in stasis of blood. The “Medical Lin Correction – Blockage” says: “Blood affected by cold will coagulate into a block.” 5.Blood heat causes stasis. Blood heat intertwines with each other, burning the fluid in the blood, making the blood sticky and not running smoothly; or heat burns the veins and collaterals, forcing the blood to travel delusionally, leading to internal bleeding, resulting in blood stagnation in certain parts of the body and not dispersing and forming stasis. For example, the “Medical Lin Correction – Blockage” says: “Blood subjected to heat is tormented and becomes blocked”. Second, the pathogenic characteristics of blood stasis 1, easy to block qi blood is the mother of qi, blood can carry qi, so once blood stasis is formed, it will certainly affect and aggravate qi stagnation, the so-called “blood stasis must be accompanied by qi stagnation”. As Qi is the marshal of blood, Qi stagnation can cause local or systemic blood flow problems. This leads to the vicious circle of blood stasis and qi stagnation, qi stagnation and blood stasis. If the trauma is localized, the blood vessels are broken and the blood comes out to cause stasis, which can lead to localized bruising, swelling and pain due to the stagnation of qi in the injured area. 2. After stagnation of blood stasis in the meridians, whether it stagnates in the veins or stays outside the veins, it can affect the function of the heart, liver, veins and other internal organs, resulting in local or systemic malfunction of blood flow, such as stagnation of blood stasis in the heart, paralysis of the heart and veins, poor flow of qi and blood, resulting in chest paralysis and heart pain; stagnation of blood stasis in the liver, resulting in stagnation of the liver veins and channels, and obstruction of qi and blood flow, hence the saying “bad blood returns to the liver”; stagnation of blood stasis in the liver, resulting in stagnation of qi and blood flow. Stasis of blood in the liver can lead to obstruction of the blood vessels and channels and obstruction of the flow of qi and blood, so it is said that “bad blood returns to the liver”; stasis of blood in the veins and channels, damage to the veins and channels, blood escaping from the veins and channels, can lead to purple blood with lumps; stasis of blood in the meridians and channels, unfavorable flow of qi and blood, and stasis of the veins and channels can lead to bruising of the lips and claws and nails, skin petechiae, petechiae on the tongue, and irregular pulse. 3, affect the new blood generation blood stasis for a long time does not dissipate, it will seriously affect the operation of qi and blood, and will inevitably affect the function of the internal organs, affecting the generation of new blood. Therefore, there is a saying that “if blood stasis does not go, new blood will not be produced”. Therefore, people with prolonged stasis can often show clinical characteristics of loss of moistening and nourishment, such as skin nail fault and hair not honored. 4.Injury to the internal organs Stagnant blood in the internal organs often causes dysfunction of the internal organs. For example, if stasis is blocked in the heart, poor blood flow leads to chest tightness and heart pain; if stasis is blocked in the lung, it will lead to deregulation of the circulation and lowering, or breakage of the veins and ligaments, which may lead to chest pain, shortness of breath and hemoptysis; if stasis is blocked in the liver, it will lead to stagnation of qi, poor blood flow and stagnation of the meridians, which may lead to dysmenorrhea and lumps; if stasis is blocked in the uterus, poor menstruation may lead to dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea and purple menstruation; if stasis is blocked in the limbs and skin, it may lead to swelling and pain; if stasis is blocked in the brain, it may lead to sudden Stasis in the brain can lead to sudden fainting, unconsciousness, or serious sequelae, such as dementia, and speech dullness. 1. Pain: Generally, the pain is stabbing, fixed, and refuses to be pressed, and the pain is especially severe at night. 2.Lumps: If blood stasis accumulates under the skin or in the body, lumps can be seen, and the parts of the lumps are fixed and immobile. If it is on the surface of the body, local bruising and swelling can be seen, so called hematoma; if it is in the body cavity, it is hard and firm and hard to move, so called zhengzheng. 3.Bleeding: Some of the patients with stasis of blood are seen to be bleeding, usually with small and uncontrolled bleeding, purple blood color, or with stasis of blood clots. 4.Purple color: First, the face is purple, lips, claw nails, etc.; second, the tongue is purple, or the tongue has petechiae, petechiae, etc. 5.It may show some abnormalities in the skin, nail fault and pulse, such as astringent pulse or knotted generation pulse, etc.
