Can you replace a half of a big tooth that’s fallen out laterally?

A large tooth that has lost half of its side can usually be repaired by resin filling, inlay or full crown.
1. If the area of the missing tooth is relatively small, it can be repaired by resin filling; that is to say, the missing tooth can be repaired by using the resin filling material specialized for oral cavity.
2. If the chipped tooth is relatively large, and the resin material cannot obtain stable retention; inlays can be chosen to repair the chipped area, i.e., inlays can be used to cover and make up for the chipped part of the tooth.
3. If most of the teeth are missing and cannot be repaired in the above two ways, the only way is to repair the teeth with full crowns; i.e., the teeth will be encircled with metal crowns, ceramic crowns or all-ceramic crowns in order to restore the normal chewing function of the teeth.
It is recommended to consult a doctor for a clear diagnosis and treatment in order to avoid delaying the condition.
