How to see how nearsighted you are

In order to know the degree of myopia, you need to go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital for an optometry examination, and the value of the column titled S on the result sheet of the optometry examination is the degree of myopia of the patient. Often myopic patients will have symptoms of decreased distance vision and need to go to the hospital ophthalmology department for an optometry examination in order to determine the exact degree of myopia. The optometry results sheet has three columns of values titled S, C and A, representing myopia, astigmatism and astigmatism axis, respectively. Patients can focus on the column titled S, where the letter R in front of the value represents the amount of myopia in the right eye, and the letter L in front of the value represents the amount of myopia in the left eye. The patient also needs to identify the sign in front of the value; a negative sign indicates myopia, and a positive sign indicates that the patient has hyperopia. To be able to accurately interpret a patient’s optometry results sheet, the results should be taken to an ophthalmologist, who will interpret them.
