What’s wrong with getting drunk on alcohol?

Drinking alcohol and getting drunk at the same time may be due to alcohol allergy, lack of acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, liver disease, and so on.
1. Alcohol allergy: if the patient is allergic and allergic to alcohol, acute alcohol poisoning will occur after drinking alcohol, which will be manifested as drunkenness.
2. Lack of ethanol dehydrogenase: under normal circumstances, after drinking alcohol, alcohol will be converted into acetaldehyde by the enzyme ethanol dehydrogenase in the liver, then catalyzed by the enzyme acetaldehyde dehydrogenase to generate acetic acid, and finally carbon dioxide and water are discharged from the body, and at the same time, a large amount of heat energy is released.
The amount of ethanol dehydrogenase in each person’s liver is different, some people have more than others and do not get drunk easily, but some people have less ethanol dehydrogenase, and will have the symptom of getting drunk as soon as they drink.
3. Liver disease: Ethanol dehydrogenase is mainly produced by the liver. If you suffer from some liver diseases, such as chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, alcoholic liver, etc., the metabolic function of the liver is abnormal, and you can’t metabolize the alcohol normally, so you will get drunk easily.
It is recommended to avoid drinking alcohol, after drinking alcohol discomfort is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, give targeted treatment or standardized treatment.
