At the end of liver cancer, whether patients with hepatic coma can wake up is related to the staging, they may regain wakefulness, they may be awake and comatose from time to time, or they may be permanently comatose; at present, hepatic coma is categorized into Stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ, as follows. 1. Generally speaking, patients can wake up if they are treated before stage I and II of hepatic coma. 2. In case of hepatic coma stages III and IV, treatment is very difficult and some patients cannot wake up even with liver transplantation. In the developing stage of hepatic coma, some patients can wake up intermittently by decreasing the production of intestinal ammonia, decreasing the absorption of intestinal ammonia and promoting the decomposition of ammonia in the blood. If the condition does not improve, early liver transplantation is indicated. Therefore, if there is hepatic coma, it is important to detect it early and treat it early.
