The lumbar cyst compresses the cauda equina to take conservative treatment or surgical treatment. 1. Conservative treatment: If it is only lumbosacral pain or numbness of lower limbs, conservative treatment should be adopted first, applying dehydrating and decongestive drugs such as hepatic saponin sodium or mannitol to reduce the edema of the nerve, applying nutritive drugs such as methylcobalamin injection, and applying non-steroidal painkillers such as diclofenac sodium delayed-release tablets. 2. Surgery: If the conservative treatment is ineffective, there is weakness or paralysis of the lower limbs, urinary and faecal disorders, surgical treatment is needed to remove the cysts and perform cauda equina nerve release surgery. Lumbar cyst compressing the cauda equina can be treated conservatively in the early stage, if the conservative treatment is ineffective, go to the hospital for surgical treatment.
