Breasts that hurt when you touch them are not necessarily pregnant. This is because breast disorders can also cause breast swelling and pain, such as breast hyperplasia, breast nodules, and breast fibroids, all of which can cause varying degrees of swelling and pain in the breasts. Breast pain at the touch is not necessarily pregnancy and should not be taken as an indicator of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, breast tenderness usually occurs after 56 days of pregnancy. The earliest test to determine if you are pregnant is through blood HCG. If you have recently had unprotected intercourse, you can go to the hospital for blood HCG at the earliest 8-10 days or more after intercourse to make a preliminary judgment. If conception is successful, blood HCG can show positive indicators.
