Urticaria is a common inflammatory skin reaction closely related to various allergic factors. The vast majority of patients with urticaria in the clinic are acute urticaria patients, such patients in the application of regular antihistamine treatment, about 3-5 days can effectively control the condition, about 5-7 days of medication can make the condition no longer recurring episodes. However, there are also patients with chronic urticaria, which often requires a long period of medication to control, otherwise it is very likely that urticaria will recur. Some patients may have chronic urticaria for several years or so, and shorter ones for a few months or so. The vast majority of patients with urticaria can get better within a week, but it is not certain how long patients with chronic urticaria can get better.
