Chronic gastritis with hyperplasia refers to inflammatory hyperplasia of gastric mucosa, which should be alerted to the possibility of cancer. Chronic gastritis with hyperplasia can be characterized by three kinds of conditions: chronic gastritis with glandular reactive hyperplasia, chronic gastritis with glandular mild to moderate anisotropic hyperplasia and chronic gastritis with glandular severe anisotropic hyperplasia. 1. Chronic gastritis with glandular reactive hyperplasia: due to the stimulation of chronic inflammation, resulting in glandular reactive hyperplasia, this kind of hyperplasia is more common and belongs to the non-neoplastic hyperplasia. 2. Chronic gastritis with mild-moderate heterotopic hyperplasia of the gland: also known as low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, it is due to long-term inflammatory stimulation or persistent infection of Helicobacter pylori, resulting in mild-to-moderate heterotopic hyperplasia of the gland, this kind of hyperplasia is a neoplastic hyperplasia, and it is likely to be reversible after treatment, but it needs to be closely observed to avoid the disease from progressing. 3. Chronic gastritis with severe heterogeneous hyperplasia of the gland: it belongs to high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, which needs to be treated by endoscopic surgery to prevent the possibility of developing into gastric cancer. Patients with chronic gastritis with hyperplasia need to pay enough attention and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
