In the early stages of trichinosis, patients may experience digestive symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. As the disease progresses, patients gradually develop fever, or generalized muscle pain, as well as weakness, fatigue, emaciation and other symptoms. If the disease involves the circulatory system, patients may experience palpitations, panic, chest tightness, and in severe cases, heart failure. If the disease involves the respiratory system, the patient may experience symptoms such as coughing, coughing up sputum, coughing up blood, and dyspnea. If the central nervous system is involved, the patient may experience dizziness, headache, difficulty in swallowing, and even convulsions in severe cases.
