Neuroblastoma, in general, is not completely curable. This is because neuroblastoma tends to be a malignant tumor. Malignant tumors have a characteristic of infiltrative erosion, and in common parlance, they grow everywhere like weeds, and neuroblastoma may form wherever there are nerves. Therefore, it is not possible to have surgery in one place and be able to remove it. Some of them even require multiple surgeries or various treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy at a later stage to treat them accordingly. However, in clinical practice, there are some neuroblastomas with higher malignancy that not only arise in the skull, but also may metastasize in other parts of the body. Therefore, treatment is very troublesome and many of them are not completely curable. We can only try to apply some means to reduce the patient’s pain and prolong the patient’s survival time.
