Sanjiu Gastro-Thai includes Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Granules and Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Capsules, which are commonly used clinically as Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Granules. Patients are not recommended to take Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Granules after drinking alcohol. Sanjiu Gastro-Thai Granules is composed of Sanjiu Bitter, Jiulixiang, Amaryllis, and Mucuna pruriens, etc. It has the efficacy of clearing away heat and drying dampness, promoting qi and activating blood circulation, softening the liver and relieving pain (treating pains caused by deficiency of liver yin and blood), and it can be clinically used in the treatment of gastric pain, regurgitation of acidity, nausea, and vomiting due to internal dampness-heat and stagnation of qi and blood stasis. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not known. It should be used with caution in patients with stomach cold. In the process of using the drug, attention should be paid to avoid eating spicy stimulation, greasy and cold food, avoid emotional excitement or sulking. Thus, patients are not recommended to use this drug after drinking alcohol, which may cause irritation to the stomach and affect the efficacy of the drug.
