Whether or not the fetus is in labor can be seen by ultrasound. During an ultrasound examination, the sonographer can determine whether the fetus is in labor by examining the position of the fetal head.
In addition to the ultrasound examination, the ultrasound doctor can also determine whether the fetus is in utero by palpation and internal examination.
Fetal implantation means that the fetus enters the pelvic cavity through the mother’s pelvic inlet in a head-down, buttocks-up position in the amniotic fluid, so that the position of the fetus is fixed. Pregnant women may feel a sensation of lower abdominal cramping when the fetus enters the pelvis. A primiparous woman usually delivers 1 to 2 weeks after the fetus enters the pelvis. Menstruating women may go into labor at any time after the fetus enters the pelvis.
It should be noted that the fetus is not in the breech, transverse, or shoulder position, so it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for appropriate treatment.
