Do you need to take pictures for shoulder pain?

Not all symptoms of shoulder pain require a radiograph. You need to go to the hospital to have an orthopedic surgeon perform a physical examination of the shoulder joint, combined with the positive signs that appear, and then analyze the patient’s medical history to make a comprehensive judgment. If there is no external force injury, it is a simple soft tissue strain or strain, and a radiograph is not necessary. If there is a suspicion of rotator cuff tear, the examination of radiographs will not solve the problem and MRI is needed. If there is a suspected dislocation or fracture around the shoulder joint due to an external injury, a radiograph is needed. Therefore, shoulder pain can be caused by many diseases, and there is a big difference in the tests needed to diagnose different diseases, from X-ray to MRI.
