Uterine diverticulum may bleed 1-3 days after menstruation, or even longer, and may also manifest as dribbling menstruation, there are individual differences, there is no uniform standard.
Uterine diverticulum is mostly caused by poor wound healing after cesarean section surgery, resulting in scarring and indentation between the uterine body and the surgical incision, which in turn causes a series of discomforts. Mild cases can be observed, but if accompanied by obvious symptoms such as physiological discomforts, or diverticulum of a larger scope, and there is a requirement of pregnancy, surgery can be carried out.
Under normal circumstances, women’s menstruation 3-7 days of vaginal bleeding significantly reduced until clean, but some patients with uterine diverticulum may be continued for many days of menstruation, as little as 8-9 days, as much as 10-20 days, but also some patients manifested after the menstrual period is clean 1-3 days again a small amount of small vaginal bleeding continued to be unclean.
If bleeding occurs again a few days after menstruation, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible for relevant examinations to clarify the diagnosis and active treatment if necessary.
