Otorhinolaryngology mainly deals with ear, nose and throat problems, and there are many diseases related to them. Clinically, common diseases are divided into several categories, which are inflammatory lesions, benign lesions, malignant tumor lesions and functional lesions. 1. Inflammatory lesions: common including rhinitis, sinusitis, otitis media and inflammation of the pharynx, prolonged poorly controlled lesions, there may be further induced cholesteatoma, enlarged tonsils and adenoid hypertrophy and other diseases. 2. Benign lesions: mainly including nasal polyps, epiglottis cysts, vocal polyps, etc., which need to be combined with endoscopy and imaging to make a comprehensive judgment. 3. Malignant tumor lesions: there are some malignant tumors in ENT, such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, laryngeal carcinoma, etc., which will cause damage to the pharynx and throat. 4. Functional lesions: the corresponding lesions mainly include hearing loss, tinnitus, sudden deafness, etc. The relevant lesions may be related to abnormal nerve function. Clinical symptoms such as obvious nasal congestion, hearing loss, throat discomfort and so on need to consult a doctor in time to confirm the diagnosis of the condition, and then do further treatment.
