Cough with blood may be related to respiratory infections, bronchial dilatation, lung cancer and other diseases, specific problems need to be analyzed. 1. Respiratory system infection: especially Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia, because the hemolytic toxin contained in the bacteria can destroy the red blood cells, so there can be sputum with blood or pus and blood. Penicillinase-resistant semi-synthetic penicillin or cephalosporin, such as benzoxacillin sodium, cloxacillin, cefuroxime sodium and other treatments can be used. 2. Bronchial dilatation: If the patient has bronchial dilatation, there may be blood in the sputum when coughing, or even hemoptysis. If the bleeding is small, adrenochrome tablets can be taken. If the bleeding amount is medium, post-pituitary hormone or phentolamine can be given intravenously to contract the capillaries under the dilated bronchial mucosa, so as to alleviate hemoptysis symptoms of patients. 3. Lung cancer: Lung cancer can also have the symptom of repeated blood in sputum, and surgery, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy can be given according to the different pathological types, stages and gene mutations of lung cancer. Besides, there are other diseases that can cause the symptom of blood in sputum. If the symptom is not relieved or aggravated, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, and improve the relevant examination under the doctor’s guidance to make a clear diagnosis and standardize the treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
