What’s with the hiccups and the stomach pains?

Acute gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome and gastric cancer are the main considerations for hiccups and stomach pain.
1. Acute gastritis: when patients are infected with Helicobacter pylori bacteria causing acute gastritis, stomach pain and hiccups will occur due to inflammation stimulating gastric mucosa.
2. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): when the patient has excessive mental, work and life stress, due to stress stimulation, emotional fluctuation, digestive disorders such as hiccups and stomach pain will occur.
3. Gastric cancer: when patients have gastric cancer, due to the stimulation of diaphragm by cancer, there will be hiccups all the time, and the breakage and erosion at the tumor and the continuous growth of the tumor will lead to the symptoms of stomach pain.
There may be other reasons for hiccups all the time, so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to improve the relevant examination, clarify the cause of the disease under the guidance of doctors, and give targeted treatment or therapy.
